Are you Gas Safe registered?
Yes of course, we are Gas Safe registered. Gas Safe registration is a legal prerequisite in order to be able to do any work on a gas boiler. Our Gas Safe registration number is
Are you VAT registered?
No we are not VAT registered. Because we specialise in repairs and not installations, we are able to stay under the VAT threshold. As a result it means that you save 20% on your bill if you use our services.
Are you insured?
Yes of course, we are fully insured. Our insurance covers us up to 1 million pounds.
What areas do you cover?
We cover most of South Yorkshire, which includes most of Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley and a small part of the west side of Doncaster. For a complete overview of all the areas we cover, have a look at our locations page.
How can I pay?
We accept most form of payment, you can either pay via cash, card or a bank transfer but we don’t accept payment by cheque.
Is your work guaranteed?
Yes, any parts that we fit to your boiler or central heating system are guaranteed for 12 months.
Obviously we cannot guarantee any parts that have not been fitted to your boiler or central heating system.
Do I need to wait in all day?
No, in general we will be able to provide you with a close estimate as to the time we will attend, plus we will drop you a message when we’re on our way.
Given the nature of the job there are many variables. As such, some jobs sometimes take longer than expected and because of this we may attend a bit later than the estimated time agreed, but we will always let you know of any delays.
How often should I have my boiler serviced?
As a general rule it is recommend that you have your boiler serviced every 12 months.
How long does a boiler service take?
In general a boiler service takes somewhere between 1 and 2 hours depending on the level of service that is required.
How long does a boiler repair take?
It varies depending on the make and model of boiler, but as a general rule a repair can take anything up to 2 hours, sometimes 3 hours.
Why do you only service and repair certain makes and model of boiler?
We always to endeavour to provide the best possible service that we can. It is impossible to carry every single part for every single boiler manufacturer and model. By focusing on certain makes and models of boiler, we can provide a much better service as our knowledge, experience and parts availability is much more focused.
Can you guarantee that you will have my boiler fixed in one visit?
We always endeavour to repair boilers in one visit as quickly and efficiently as possible, which is usually possible as we carry a lot of boiler spares. However we cannot always guarantee that we can fix a boiler in one visit several reasons.
We carry all the common parts for the boilers that we work on, but not every single part, so sometimes we may just not have the part as stock. Sometimes we may use spares on a boiler and come across the exact same boiler needing the same spares before we’ve been able to replenish our stock.
