Broken Vaillant ecoTEC Plus boiler with F62 fault code
This is a short clip of a Vaillant ecoTEC Plus boiler displaying the dreaded F62 fault code.
The F62 fault code on a Vaillant ecoTEC boiler is generally going to leave you without hot water or heating.
You may be able to reset your boiler for a period of time but eventually your boiler will stop working altogether and you won’t be able to reset it anymore.
The F62 fault code can affect the Vaillant ecoTEC Plus combination, system and heat-only range of boilers.
A lot of the time an F62 fault code is generally going to be related to a fault with the printed circuit board(PCB).
Sometimes like the boiler shown, you may see the F62 fault code alongside the F27 fault code, or even combined with the F61 fault code at times.
On first generation Vaillant ecoTEC Plus boilers like the one shown, you may even see an F64 fault code or the “con” fault displayed instead.
